This page is designed to help you ensure your submission is ready and fits the scope of the Journal of Emerging and Innovative Technologies (JEIT). Before submitting, please carefully read our Author Guidelines to ensure your manuscript meets all formatting and submission requirements.

Journal of Emerging and Innovative Technologies (JEIT) (E-ISSN 3152-8651) is a peer‑reviewed, open‑access journal published by Qassim University. It is dedicated to advancing research and innovation in engineering, computer science, and applied technologies that drive the transformation toward Industry 4.0 and 5.0.

Submission Checklist

  • Originality: The submission is an original investigation and has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration elsewhere.
  • Formatting: The manuscript follows JEIT formatting guidelines using Times New Roman 12pt with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Abstract: A structured abstract of maximum 250 words is included covering background, methods, results, and conclusion.
  • Keywords: Three to six relevant keywords specific to the article are provided.
  • Code & Data: Source code, datasets, and models are shared via public repositories (GitHub, Zenodo, etc.) where applicable.
  • AI Compliance: The use of any AI-assisted tools in manuscript preparation has been disclosed per ICMJE guidelines. AI-generated figures or data are not permitted.
  • Conflict of Interest: A declaration regarding potential conflicts of interest is included (e.g., 'The authors declare no conflicts of interest').
  • Funding Disclosure: All funding sources have been clearly disclosed.
  • Authorship: The contribution of each author is clearly stated and all named authors agree with the manuscript content.
  • References: References follow IEEE style and are numbered consecutively in square brackets.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish in the Journal of Emerging and Innovative Technologies (JEIT) retain copyright of their work. JEIT is an open-access journal published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

By submitting a manuscript to JEIT, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and does not infringe any existing copyright.
  • They have the right to publish the work.
  • All authors have approved the final manuscript.
  • They agree to the journal's open-access policy.

Note: All authors must sign the Copyright Agreement Form prior to publication.

Peer Review

  • Peer Review Process: JEIT strictly follows a systematic double-blind peer review process with a built-in quality control mechanism.
  • Independent Review: All manuscripts are reviewed by two or more independent experts in the relevant field.
  • Double-Blind Review: All identifying author information is removed before manuscripts are sent for review.
  • Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodology, significance, technical soundness, and relevance to the journal scope.
  • Final Decision: The final editorial decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewer recommendations.
  • Possible Outcomes: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
  • Revision Cycles: The journal typically allows up to two rounds of major revisions.
  • Author Appeals: Authors may submit a formal appeal with point-by-point arguments if they object to a rejection decision.

Publication Fees

  • Article Processing Charges (APC): JEIT charges no Article Processing Charges. Submission and publication are completely free for all authors.
  • Open Access Model: All articles are published under the open access model, making the full text freely available to everyone immediately upon publication.
