Biography
I am a veterinary anatomic pathologist, educator, researcher, and academic mentor with more than 30 years of experience in veterinary pathology and higher education.
I currently serve as an Associate Professor of Anatomic Pathology at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama, USA, where I contribute to veterinary pathology education, diagnostic pathology, course coordination, research mentorship, and curriculum innovation. Previously, I progressed through the academic ranks to Full Professor of Anatomic Pathology at Cairo University, with international academic experience including a Fulbright postdoctoral scholarship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
My professional interests include comparative and diagnostic pathology, infectious and inflammatory diseases, toxicopathology, One Health, and emerging applications of digital pathology and AI in veterinary education.
I am passionate about preparing practice-ready veterinarians through clinical reasoning, active learning, and student mentorship, while advancing veterinary medicine through collaborative research, academic leadership, and global partnerships.
